Meet the professional figure skating coaching team at Fire & Ice Arena
Our coaching team is currently being assembled as we prepare for our September 2026 opening. We are actively recruiting experienced figure skating professionals who share our commitment to athlete development and excellence on the ice.
Mark Fitzgerald is our Figure Skating Program Director. Mark brings more than 30 years of experience as a competitive figure skater, coach, skating director, entrepreneur, and educator to North Phoenix.
As Figure Skating Program Director, Fitzgerald will oversee the arena’s Learn to Skate, Aspire, competitive figure skating, staff development, and athlete progression programs. His goal is to establish a comprehensive pathway that supports skaters of all ages and abilities, from recreational participants to elite competitors.
Looking for an experienced head coach with a strong competitive background to lead our advanced figure skating and competition preparation programs.
Seeking enthusiastic and patient instructors to teach our Learn to Skate and Aspire programs. Must have experience working with beginners and young skaters in a group setting.
