About Our League

Fire 'n' Ice Adult Hockey League

Whether you have never played before or you are a seasoned veteran, Fire 'n' Ice has a division for you. Our adult hockey league runs year-round on two NHL-sized rinks with professional officiating, full stat tracking, and a complete post-game social experience at Cross Bar Sports Bar.

❄️ Winter League

September through March. Full competitive season with playoffs and championship.

☀️ Summer League

April through August. Keep your skills sharp during the off-season with summer league play.

3 x 15-Minute Periods — Full regulation game format on NHL-sized ice surfaces.

Non-Checking & Co-Ed — All divisions are non-checking. Women's locker room available.

Playoffs — Top 4 teams in each division qualify for the end-of-season playoff tournament.

Minimum 15 Players — Each team must carry a minimum roster of 15 players.

Per team (minimum 15 players) • $1,000 deposit to secure spot

Captains may register a full team in the A, B, C, D, or Elite divisions. First come, first served — up to 6 team rosters selected per division.

Free Agent Evaluation

$695

Paid after evaluation & team placement • Tryout is FREE

Players without a team may register for evaluation as a Free Agent. The evaluation schedule will consist of at least two days after the rink opens and before league play begins. The Director's staff will evaluate your skill level and make every effort to place you on an appropriate team. You may be placed on a registered team that is short players or be part of a completely new team.

Beginner's Class

16-week program • Sunday Afternoons

Never played hockey but want to learn? Fire 'n' Ice would love to introduce you to the game starting with an adult beginner's class on Sunday afternoons. If you can skate across the ice with your head up and are excited to give it a go, this class is for you.

Sunday afternoon time slot
Graduation Ceremony on Week 16 — celebrate with your first-ever real hockey game, complete with the National Anthem, referees, and official scoring. Followed by post-game food and drink specials in our bar. Bring your family and friends!
Graduates may enroll directly into the Beginner’s League, which conveniently takes place in the Sunday time slots following the Beginner’s Class — ensuring seamless continuity of your Sunday hockey tradition.
